SCUDO®: the new brand for plain copper tubes according to EN 1057

Serravalle Copper Tubes Srl and Tréfimétaux SAS are pleased to inform that, starting from  March, the new brand SCUDO® will appear on the international market. It is designed to identify the plain copper pipes (coils and straight lengths) produced by the Group according to the EN 1057 standard.
The items marked by the brand SCUDO® will have the same characteristics and peculiarities as the articles previously marked by the brand SANCO®.
The choice of the name of the new brand fell specifically on SCUDO®, a term synonymous with protection and safety: the protection given by the treatment of passivation and stabilization of the internal surface, the certainty of offering a product guaranteed by compliance with standards and time-tested.
SCUDO® is produced in full compliance with EU Regulation 305/2011 for construction products (CPR) and it is marked with the CE mark. A further guarantee of the quality of the product is given by the UNI-IGQ mark, an added value certified by an independent and well recognized Quality Institute.
Each single articles will not go through any change, neither from a qualitative nor a technical-productive point of view. For this reason, we decided to keep the same article codes; the only change will be the commercial brand in the product description.
