The shiny, clean and dry inner surface, with soluble residues < 0.38 mg/dm², is ensured by a dedicated production process and end sealing already in the manufacturing stage.

Gelo copper tubes have a high degree of internal cleanliness and are specially designed for conveying industrial gases, refrigerants and for vacuum distribution. They can be used in high-pressure systems and have excellent workability characteristics. By means of special patented production processes, the internal cleanliness of the tubing is ensured to meet the special requirements of the various fields of application for which the products are intended. Frost is manufactured according to EN 12735-1.

Gelo is produced in 5-m rods (hard physical state R290) in millimeter and inch versions; it has both ends capped in order to ensure that internal cleanliness is maintained, and each pipe is identified by a specific numbering that identifies the production batch and ensures traceability. The use of Gelo pipes presupposes careful evaluation of the intended use, as well as the environmental and functional conditions in which the product will be installed. This assessment must be made at the design stage and by competent personnel: the proper use and operation of piping requires installation in full compliance with current regulations and according to the good rule of art. The production of Gelo is carried out following the rules defined by an ISO 9001 approved Quality Management System, in line with the European PED Directive 2014/68/EU.
