SMISOL® Clim

SCT Quality Assurance

SMISOL® Clim Pre-insulated copper tubing designed for the air conditioning and transport of copper-compatible refrigerant gases (e.g., R32, R410A, R407C). Made according to EN 12735-1 and insulated with closed-cell polyethylene foam (EN 14114). It offers an excellent balance between quality and price, with reduced eccentricity for precise folding.

SMISOL® Clim

Non-flammable coating

The sheathing is in fire resistance class BL-d1-d0, the highest possible for this type of product

Non-flammable coating

Closed-cell coating with water vapor resistance

Closed-cell polyethylene foam coating with average value of water vapor diffusion resistance factor "µ" greater than 40,000. The insulation sheathing is produced in full compliance with European Regulation REG. (EU) 2024/590

Coating

Perfect fit of the sheath

The manufacturing process ensures absolute adherence of the insulating sheath to the outer wall of the copper pipe, so as to avoid the formation of gaps that adversely affect the thermal insulation capacity.

Clean and free of oxidation

Submerged extrusion ensures an oxidation-free tube. The surface is perfectly clean and dry, and the special lamellar caps preserve these characteristics.

Particularly low eccentricity values

A low eccentricity value is extremely important in splicing and cartoning processes. The Pellegrino Pass rolling process ensures extremely low eccentricity values that are controlled with precise measurements on the line.

Key Features

SMISOL® Clim was born out of close manufacturer-customer collaboration to meet the needs of a market that is increasingly focused on technological solutions that can fully meet the technical requirements of the air conditioning industry while maintaining a proper quality/price ratio. It is the copper pipe produced according to EN 12735-1, is pre-insulated in closed-cell expanded polyethylene according to EN 14114 dimensions are in inches and, as expressly provided in EN 12735-1 in section 6.3.2, can be agreed upon between manufacturer and customer. SMISOL® Clim is also distinguished by particularly low eccentricity values, a feature that is very important for cartoning operations.
