Durable and non-permeable
Coated copper pipe for domestic fuel gas distribution. Complies with EN 1057 and UNI 10823, with extruded solid PVC sheathing, resistant to impact, fire and external agents. Carbonaceous residue C less than 0.06 mg/dm², patented internal treatment. CE marked and UNI-IGQ certified. Also suitable for underground laying without dielectric joint (≤ 3 m).

The passivation and stabilization treatment applied during production ensures a carbon residue of less than 0.06 mg/dm², well below the EN 1057 limit. Added security for the reliability and durability of the gas system.

Continuous and durable coating, also ideal for underground installation
The stabilized polyvinyl resin sheath protects against impact and external aggressive agents, and is suitable for underground use according to UNI 10823. Continuously extruded, it adheres perfectly to the pipe without air pockets. Tested for electrical resistance ≥ 100 MΩ-m² and UNI 7129 compliant for laying without dielectric joint up to 3 meters.

Each pipe is tested in-line to ensure electrical resistance of insulation ≥ 100 MΩ-m², as required by UNI 10823. It also complies with UNI 7129, allowing underground laying without a dielectric joint for sections up to 3 meters.

Key Features
It is the copper pipe produced according to EN 1057 coated during production with a special full-section (non-stellar) polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheath in accordance with UNI 10823 . The properties of SMISOL® Gas in terms of melting point, fire and pressure resistance, gas impermeability and absolute tightness of brazing and joints, become indispensable in the case of domestic distribution of combustible gas, where safety guarantees are indispensable and obligatorily required by technical standards and legal provisions. In addition, to protect the consumer in accordance with EU Regulation 305/2011 for Construction Products (CPR), copper tubes in accordance with EN 1057 produced by SCT are CE marked. Further assurance of compliance with current regulations is provided by obtaining the UNI-IGQ Quality Mark.
Specifications
Seamless drawn copper tube, manufactured according to EN 1057, physical state annealed R220, deoxidized to phosphorus Cu DHP (Cu + Ag: 99.90% min. - P: 0.015÷0.040%) according to EN 1412, pre-passivation treatment of the inner surface of the pipe with carbon residue less than 0.06 mg/dm2, indelible marking every 60 cm with punching of the outer surface of the copper pipe, produced in the sizes required by UNI 7129, coated at the production stage with full-section PVC sheathing, RAL 1003 yellow, sheath thickness 1.5 mm in accordance with UNI 10823 with insulation electrical resistance equal to or greater than 100 MWm2, specific for the transport of gas for domestic use in underground areas as provided for in UNI 7129, ink marking on the outer surface of the sheath with progressive indication of the metric size with SMISOL® Gas branding.
