Strato can be bent by hand even with small bending radii. It has no memory effect and stably retains the acquired shape, facilitating installation even in complex spaces.

Totally hygienic, counteracts bacterial growth. Complies with Ministerial Decree 174/04: drinking water comes into contact only with the inner copper surface, ensuring the absence of odor and taste.

The inner copper tube is obtained by a continuous drawing process. Unlike traditional multilayers, it has no longitudinal joints of the metal layer, eliminating potential weak points in the structure.

Thanks to the metal core, Strato has extremely low thermal expansion compared to plastic pipes, ensuring high dimensional stability even when the temperature of the transported fluid changes.

Extremely low internal roughness (about 1.5 μm versus 7 μm in conventional multilayers) allows for lower pressure drops and reduced tendency to scale and scale deposits.

The metal core makes the tube completely gas-tight. The risk of contamination between inside and outside is eliminated and, in heating systems, the presence of oxygen that can cause corrosion to boilers, circulators, and metal components is avoided.

Strato represents the evolution of pipes for transporting drinking water and radiator heating. A product that combines the lightness and ease of installation of traditional multilayer with the unique performance of copper pipe in terms of pressure and high temperature resistance, hygiene and bacteriostaticity, low pressure drop and reduced internal roughness. Strato is manufactured according to UNI 11342: "Seamless composite pipes of copper and polyethylene for fluid adduction," is obtained by co-extruding a specific reduced-thickness copper pipe with an indissoluble polyethylene layer. It is then insulated externally with a closed-cell polyethylene foam insulation coating that complies with Law 10/91, implementing decree Presidential Decree 412/93 and subsequent updates. The quality of the raw material used and the characteristics of the coating, make the product particularly suitable for potable water distribution (in accordance with Ministerial Decree 174/04) and high-temperature radiator heating systems. Ease of installation and bending, no memory effect, light weight, excellent value for money, wide choice of fittings to match, reliability and safety make Strato the truly innovative solution among the latest generation of plumbing pipes.
Strato is compatible with all fittings manufactured according to EN 1254-8 normally used with multilayer piping. The peculiarity of Strato is that it offers an "open" solution and thus is not bound to any specific fitting. Different combinations are available, compatible with the most important brands of fittings on the market, including full-pass fittings. The latter solution makes it possible to adopt smaller pipe sections, saving both in terms of pipe cost and masonry work. Different types of mechanical fittings can be used (press-fit, quick-connect, compression).
Seamless drawn copper tube, manufactured according to UNI 11342, physical state annealed R220, phosphorus deoxidized Cu DHP (Cu + Ag: 99.90% min. - P: 0.015÷0.040%) according to EN 1412, prepassivation treatment of the inner tube surface with carbon residue less than 0.06 mg/dm2, permanently coated in the production stage with PE-RT in white RAL 9010 color, pre-insulated in the production stage with PE-LD closed-cell foam sheathing in gray RAL 7035 color, protected by PE film in gray RAL 7035 color, thermal conductivity λ ≤ 0.040 W/mk, water value diffusion resistance µ > 9.000 ink marking on the outer surface of the sheathing with progressive indication of the square footage, with Strato mark and indication of the reference standard, Class 1 fire behavior (M.D. 26/06/84).
